Butterfly Kisses

Frames for show only

“Butterfly Kisses” captures a tender moment between a fox and a butterfly, highlighting a gentle connection in the natural world.  This is a deeply personal piece for me, capturing a quiet , tender moment that feels both playful and profound.  The fox, with it’s eyes gently closed, embodies a sense of calm and trust, while the monarch butterfly resting softly on its nose feels like a whisper of nature’s delicate surprises.

This painting is about those fleeting connections that remind me to slow down, notice the world’s small wonders, and find joy in the unexpected moments.

This piece is one in the series “Friends of the Dunes” inspired by the beautiful animals of Indiana Dunes National Park, a place that speaks to the heart of nature’s resilience and grace.  I hope it brings a spark of warmth  and hope to your day.

I look forward to sharing more works from this collection and continuing to shine a light on the enchanting wildlife of Indiana Dunes National Park.
