Based in Northwest Indiana near the shores of Lake Michigan, Carol is a full-time artist.
After serving 3 years in the US Army (Tripler Army Medical Center - Schofield Barracks in Hawaii), Carol went on to graduate from Purdue University and worked in Architecture and Engineering for many years.
But Carol’s unrequited dream was always to share her love of art and what it can do to change people. Through the years, she gifted most of her drawings, paintings and creations to those she loved. Life got busy and responsibilities overshadowed her dreams until…
Retirement! The gates of time for Carol’s art finally opened, and for the past several years, she has taught herself watercolors, digital art, and illustration. Her most recent love is in using acrylics as they lend themselves to bright and yummy colors used to create pieces she hopes will help inspire people to love life and all of its incredible moments.
About
"Glimmer Moments"
Those small, joyful, or inspiring moments from everyday life that lift your mood. These moments are the opposite of stress triggers and can be found in things like a blooming flower, a surprise in nature, or a happy memory. I hope my art encourages you to notice these gifts in your own life.
