“Majestic Sovereign” is a celebration of grace and resilience captured in the form of the great blue heron holding court over our wetlands and shorelines.  Through rich blues, purples and earthy browns, I wanted to bring forward the quiet strength found in this bird’s elegant stance and intricate feathers.

This painting is a cheerful reminder that true strength often shines through in calm and simple moments.
